What’s the best news you’ve ever heard?
Was that news surprising? Did it change the way you think? Or was it something you wanted to be true but didn’t dare hope?
We are running the Christianity Explored Course from September!
Christianity Explored is a relaxed and informal way of hearing the best news you can ever hear. It gives people space and time to think about the big questions of life. The church will give you the beautiful handbook for free. Coffee and tea are also provided free of charge.
In Christianity Explored over ten sessions in Mark’s Gospel, You can find out more about the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ.
The structure of each session is simple: a short discussion about the Bible, a film clip and a discussion based on both. You will not be asked to sing or pray. After the formal end of the evening, you can stay a while longer if you’d like to chat things through.
It’s a true course, so there’s homework: you will be asked to complete the ‘Follow up’ in your handbook before the following meeting.
Christianity Explored gives people time and space to think about the big questions of life and to explore the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith. As they explore Mark’s Gospel, people find out who Jesus is, why he came and what it means to follow him.
